Dr. Schnelle is a native of Wisconsin pursuing his undergraduate studies at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington and his Doctorate from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. After receiving his doctorate, he underwent a special community health residency in Boston through the New England College of Optometry and the Harvard Teaching Hospitals. During this time he did research on Dry Eyes, Diabetes and other ocular diseases. In 2012 Dr. Schnelle was awarded as a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry for his dedication to patient care and his commitment to clinical research and practices.
